Recession Remedy

The current situation is that the recession has reduced all men/women, substantially, to the same level.  The rules of the race have changed.  The change favors the masses, those who had but little or no opportunity to win under previous conditions.  Our growth and development have been paralyzed by fear.  But, now is time for all men/women to step up.  Now is your time.  Now is the time for us to offer hope that will overcome fear.  Through hope, fear will turn into faith.  We need faith to meet the demands of our community.  Our communities have great demands.  The demands include: new ways of doing things, new leaders, new inventions, new methods, new marketing, new books, and new features of entertainment…  This changed world requires practical dreamers who will put their dreams into action.  The real leaders of the world take the intangible, unseen forces of unborn opportunity and convert them into practical realities that make life more convenient and more pleasant.  Be confident and have faith, because every failure brings with it the seed of an equal success.  All who succeed in life have been through many heartbreaking struggles before they reach a turning point.  The greatest achievements were for a time only a dream, and the world rewards the dreamer of new ideas very well.  The months ahead offer great opportunity for practical dreams to come true.

We need help

This is the perfect time to turn you dreams into goals, because the months ahead offer great opportunity for practical dreams to come true.  Does that statement ring true for you in your current situation?  What’s going on in your life?  Are you facing a big problem?  Are you struggling with frustration and grief?  Do you live in chaos?  Maybe, you’re the opposite, you want to celebrate, but you’re alone?  Or, you’ve been successful, but now you’re not really fulfilled?  The fact is we all have different stages in life, in which reach out.  We can’t always “go it alone”.  We need other resources to help us.  Many people, many families, many communities, many organizations are reaching out.  We are reaching out to find resources that can help us make changes or turn our situation around.  I’m sure if someone offered you some money with no strings attached you’d take it, right.  How about this, why don’t we reach out to others during our time of need.  We understand what they are going through; we face the same challenges.  We might know someone who can give them a better alternative or we could recommend someone who does good work.  We could offer our services for a discount or for a fair trade.  If you believe in what you want to do, and it’s morally right, do it.

Lessons of Life

The lessons of life help us to perceive the world around us, evaluate our interactions, and measure our results.  Our past experiences can shorten our learning curve and help us get an accurate picture of how we are and what we do.  I’ve made some pretty embarrassing mistakes in life.  Okay, the truth is I’ve made some of the same mistakes over and over.  But, somehow along the way I made less and less of the same mistakes as I plowed through the school of hard knocks.  Even more, I found that learning from my mistakes is a basic improvement that transforms failure into a stepping stone for success.  It’s amazing how we can restructure negative experiences into a positive lesson.  In fact, in learning from our mistakes, we gain valuable insight into our inner life and outer interactions.  The ability to correct or mistakes offers us an opportunity to improve and the improvement motivates us to keep on going.  As a matter of fact, “keep on keeping on” is a lesson I need to learn before I could succeeded in anything.  At the most basic level our experiences are either reactionary or controlled.  Most of the error occurs in reactionary action.  Through self-evaluation we can gain control of our reactions and manage our activities.  Once we control our activities we can direct them toward our goals.  Directing our activities and managing our behavior is what it takes to graduate from the school of hard knocks.

Thalia, Melpomene and Spirituality

Spirituality relates our soul and mind to other people, communities, nature and divinity.  The soul is the internal principle by which we think, feel, and will.  The soul animates our bodies, and the mind makes the activities of the soul the subject of our consciousness.  Spiritual practices like contemplation, meditation and prayer can offer inspiration, orientation and development in life.  Understanding spirituality and expressing spirituality isn’t always easy.  Sometimes we need help understanding ourselves and expressing our “inner person”.  Many people correlate art and spirituality, because art moves the “inner person”.  Art can help us to articulate our perspective and it can help express how we interpret other points of view.  Art can help us to drift away from the things that pre-occupy us and transcend our situations.  Sometimes art can also reveal something about us from an outside perspective.  You’ve heard music that moved your soul, you’ve seen art that made you ponder, and you’ve seen a show that made you cry.  These examples relate inwardly, but have you ever attributed these expressions to spirituality?  Have you thought of comedy as being spiritual?  Consider Thalia and Melpomene as an artistic attempt to demonstrate my point.  Thalia is the muse of Comedy in greek drama and is shown as a laughing mask and Melpomene is the muse of tragedy and is shown as a crying mask.  Comedy easily demonstrates a picture of how we are and the situations we face.  Through comedy we can take comfort in an outside point of view and soothe our emotions by making light of our characteristics or actions.  More importantly, comedy can uncover the accurate perception of self in a light-hearted way, without traumatizing us by what we see.  On the other hand, tragedies can really mix up our emotions.  Sometimes the trauma of a tragedy is too much to handle and it becomes the drama that get’s you stuck in an emotional state.  Hmmm…. Maybe that’s why the drama queen/king rides from one emotional roller coaster to the next.  Whether art is expressed in the comedy of  Thalia or tragedy of Melpomene, it helps us to relate our lot in life, deal with stuff and gain awareness.  Never the less, our perceptions of the inner-self predict how we see and behave in the world around us.  We have great potential to take control of the way we think, feel, and will.

“If someone dropped me off in a strange city with $500 and the clothes on my back I would become a millionaire.”  Have you heard this claim before?  Are there really people who can use scarce resources to build great wealth?  If this is possible, how is it that some people have money problems?  Why do people struggle all their lives just to pay utility bills and make ends meet.  They can never afford to take their children on fun trips, help their parents retire early, and rarely buy extravagant gifts.  While other people  have lots of money and can afford to buy luxuries that others can’t even dream of.  They even claim that they can turn $500 into millions.  If you’ve ever been overwhelmed with not having enough money just to survive it may seem like it’s impossible to get out of this vicious cycle.  It may sound far-fetched to learn about using scarce resources to build great wealth.  Is it really possible for somebody to go from rags to riches?  Can we find anybody that has done this in our lifetime?  The answer is yes!  Many people from diverse backgrounds and extreme situations have proven the power of human ingenuity and triumph.  Many people who are successful today were devastated by grave challenges just months ago.  It’s more enjoyable to have what you need without worrying about if you can afford to pay for it.  That is why there will always be somebody somewhere overcoming great difficulties.  Right now there is somebody in a strange city with $500 and only the clothes on their back that will become a millionaire within a reasonable amount of time.  Sometime people are so overwhelmed by extremely challenging situations that they want to give up, but they don’t.  Somehow  they find a way from rags to riches.  If you’ve ever thought about changing your lot in life, if you are interested in enhancing your lifestyle and the lives of the people you love, then why not do it now?  You don’t have to do it alone and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist either.  What you need is a plan that you can believe in, a commitment to follow the plan, and a measure of results.  You can follow someone else’s plan from the start.  It’s ok to follow systems, methods, rules or next steps that have been proven to produce intended results.

Now if you are ready to venture off and build your empire of wealth, but are still asking yourself what should I do first?  Or  how do I do it and who do I follow?  Then follow our posts to get the resources and tools that will take you from where you are now to where you are headed.
